In November 1999 Wise Moves was the first organisation to offer dance workshop to schools on any school day in England and Wales and by far the most popular style was Street Dance.
There have always been teachers looking for Caribbean dance workshops but it is only in recent years that we have seen a steady increase in demand for artists from Central and South America.
So, if you would like your children to spread their wings and learn about something a bit different, how about Capoeira or Samba from Brazil, or Salsa & Merengue from Cuba, or North American Indian Dance. We have artists available for all of these styles and many more. So feel free to set us a challenge and let us know what you are looking for. We do a number of Caribbean artists available and more than enough to meet demand. It is not as big a team as (say) our team of Indian artists but they are big on talent and experience. Indeed one of them, Juliet, was one of the six artists that we selected to work with when we started to trade in November 1999. Since then she has delivered literally hundreds of workshops for us more than any other artist save for Junior Jones who founded this company. Despite having three children she still does so today.
